Dr. Sarah Gill, SJ/C Gynecological Oncologist

Sarah Gill, MD

Dr. Sarah Gill is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist and obstetrician-gynecologist who specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of gynecologic cancers. Dr. Gill is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American College of Surgeons (ACS) and Society of Gynecologic Oncologists (SGO). She is licensed to practice in both Georgia and South Carolina. Dr. Gill also is a clinical assistant professor at the Medical College of Georgia. She is highly skilled in robotic-assisted, minimally invasive surgery, which reduces patient recovery time and post-surgical discomfort. Her expertise and special interests include the treatment of pre-cancerous and cancerous conditions of the reproductive tract, da Vinci Robotic surgery and chemotherapy and treatment planning. She’s also the site principal investigator for clinical trials in Gynecologic Oncology at the LCRP.

Christopher Walker, MD

Dr. Christopher Walker earned his bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Georgia in Athens followed by his doctor of medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Walker did his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Mich., where he served as academic chief resident. That was followed by a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Walker is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, International Gynecologic Cancer Society, American Association for Cancer Research, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Walker is certified in da Vinci Robotic surgery as well as the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery.
